2019-20-004 - A New Longs Fire Station (#13)

Horry County invites potential bids from interested Contractors properly licensed in South Carolina  for "A New Longs Fire Station #13 IFB # 2019-20-004". The Work includes pre-engineered steel structures, slab on grade floor and spread footing foundations.  The exterior consists of masonry, brick, EIFS, and metal siding with prefinished aluminum windows, metal roof, interior CMU and metal stud partitions with gypsum board finish, suspended acoustical and gypsum board ceiling systems, poured epoxy and LVT flooring and other various finishes. The facility shall be provided with a fire suppression system throughout.  Facility will be connected to public water and sewer.  The Work also includes structural, plumbing, fire sprinkler, mechanical, electrical, civil, landscaping and irrigation. Any submission received later than the 2:00 PM deadline will be considered “LATE” and will not be accepted. No facsimiles, emails, telephone or text submissions will be accepted. Bidders  should submit all required documents in their electronic submittal. A Bid Bond, with Power of Attorney from surety,  must be in the amount of not less than Five Percent (5%) of the base bid. Local Vendor Preference may be applicable to this sealed bid process. There is a Mandatory Pre-bid Conference. Plans/Drawings will be avialable for inspection at the offices of PIKE - McFARLAND - HALL ASSOCIATES, INC., Myrtle Beach, SC (by appointment).
