Specifications include, but are not limited to: Select from the vendors responding to this RFP one or more qualified Respondent (hereafter called “Respondents”, whether one or more) that will provide the neighborhood the best possible combination of quality merchandise, customer service, and pricing for convenience grocery store items. The successful Respondents, if any, selected by the City through this RFP will be the Respondents that submits a proposal that is the most advantageous to the City, on or before the submittal deadline. Provide an income stream to the City in exchange for Respondents use of City’s space, which will be used to support the programs and goals of the ERC. Encourage the use of alternate sales and delivery modes, including e-commerce, particularly to the extent such business models are efficient in the use of on-site space and provide goods at favorable prices.
