Specifications include, but are not limited to: Each year the South Carolina Department of Agriculture (SCDA) exhibits at various food industry trade shows including a few that offer the unique opportunity for SC producers and agribusinesses to exhibit within a state Pavilion space and market their products to a global audience. The SCDA is seeking a contractor to design, build, install, and dismantle a SC Pavilion at the 2023 International Fresh Produce Association, Global Produce and Floral Trade Show on October 19-21, 2023, in Anaheim, CA, Booth # 2353. The International Fresh Produce Association, Global Produce and Floral Trade show (formerly known as the PMA Fresh Summit) is the largest produce expo in the United States and provides an exclusive opportunity for SC growers to interact with national and international buyers from retail, wholesale, and food service markets. Since the location of the tradeshow changes each year, so does the size of the Pavilion space reserved, as well as the number of SC producers that attend and exhibit within the SCDA Pavilion. The closer the show is to the home state of SC, the larger the booth size and the greater number of co-exhibitors. This year the show will be held in Anaheim, CA October 19-21, 2023, and the SCDA has reserved a 20x30 booth space on behalf of five SC co-exhibitors including Melon 1, Titan Farms, WP Rawl, SC Peach Council, and the SC Watermelon Association.
