Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Greenville-Spartanburg Airport District (District) is seeking to receive proposals for a Security Service Agency to provide security support by providing two (2) unarmed security officers, twenty (20) hours a day, seven (7) days a week at the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP), located in Spartanburg and Greenville County, South Carolina. These services are to provide professional, qualified, and trained personnel to serve as unarmed security guards at the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP). Any Security Agency with the appropriate licensing from the State of South Carolina to operate, wishing to respond to this proposal must complete this proposal request. Security Agencies must be able to show experience and expertise with similar work, traffic control experience, customer service, and be able to meet the requirements described below. The proposal includes random aviation worker screening, traffic control and customer service along terminal front curb to maintain a continuous flow of traffic to access the terminal curb front. Additional duties may include random patrol of parking garages, parking lots, and other areas on airport property and other minor security related tasks as directed by Police Department personnel. The contractor may also assist by guarding and securing various access points, on an occasional basis and as needed basis.
