A. Turf areas shall be mowed, edged and trimmed weekly during the growing season (March - October) and bi-weekly during the dormant season (November – February) Mowing shall be provided more frequently if required. B. Debris, litter, and trash shall be removed from the site prior to mowing. C. In conjunction with mowing, trimming shall be performed around all buildings and other obstacles to maintain a separation between turf and plant beds. Trimming height shall match the existing lawn height. D. Curbs, sidewalks, and beds shall be edged and blown and/or swept following landscape maintenance services to remove all debris. A mechanical edger should be used unless curbing is broken. In that case, a string trimmer may be used. E. Excess grass clippings shall be bagged to prevent debris from blowing onto cars and into landscape beds. F. All landscape beds, concrete, and asphalt shall be sprayed with Round Up to control weed infestation. Hand weeding may be necessary for areas of scrubs, groundcovers, and trees. Weeds over 4" tall shall be removed manually. Any weeds growing in parking areas, sidewalks or curbs will be sprayed or removed during each visit. G. Leaf removal shall be performed during every visit. During fall months, leaf removal may be needed more frequently. H. Shrubbery pruning shall be performed as needed in accordance with accepted horticulture practices to maintain a neat appearance and to keep clear of all buildings. I. Tree canopies shall be pruned to maintain a height of 12' clearance clear of buildings, and roof edges. J. All turf, trees, and shrubs shall be fertilized and treated to prevent insect damage and disease. K. As requested, flowers may be planted twice annually and pine needles or mulch may be installed twice annually. L. Minor irrigation and other landscaping repairs shall be performed as needed. M. Snow removal may be required. N. Disaster debris clean up may be required.
