Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Northern Lights Generator Services • John Deere Generator Services • Yamaha Engine Services • Caterpillar Engine Services • Volvo Engine Services • Marine Electronic Service • Marine Hydraulic Service • Marine Welding Service LOT 1 Northern Lights Generator Service These services will be to maintain and repair the Northern Lights generators that are currently installed on the R/V Lady Lisa and the R/V Silver Crescent, Commercial Marine 20 KW, Model M20CRW3: 20 KW @ 1800. This work will be performed on the generators of the R/V Lady Lisa and the R/V Silver Crescent while docked at the Marine Resources Center on James Island. Access to each vessel will be provided by the vessel captain or a crew member. Response to a call for service must be within four (4) hours upon receipt of said call and services must be provided within two (2) days of said call for service or as agreed upon with the captain of the vessel. LOT 2 John Deere Generator Service These services will be to maintain and repair the John Deere inline 6-cylinder 100 kw and the John Deere inline 4-cylinder 60 kw generators that are currently installed on the R/V Palmetto. This work will be performed on the generators of the R/V Palmetto while docked at the Marine Resources Center on James Island, South Carolina. Access to the vessel will be provided by the vessel captain or a crew member. Response to a call for service must be within four (4) hours upon receipt of said call and services must be provided within two (2) days of said call for service or as agreed upon with the captain of the vessel. LOT 3 Yamaha Engine Service These services will be to maintain and repair the twin counter rotating Yamaha F225XCA 2019 model engines that are mounted on the E/V Discovery, a 45’ by 14’ Corinthian Catamaran. Documentation of employment and training is required upon demand during the life of this contract. The Contractor must be located within a 50-mile radius of the SCDNR Marine Resources Center located on James Island, South Carolina. This work will be performed on the E/V Discovery at a marine yard within a 50-mile radius of the SCDNR Marine Resources Center on James Island, South Carolina, or on site in the water if that is feasible. All service work will require travel, as the Discovery cannot be transported over the road. Access to the vessel will be provided by the vessel captain or a crew member. Routine service is required annually, and is usually done in December, January, or February when the boat is hauled out for winter maintenance, but service may be required at other times. Contractor must be willing to give DNR priority for emergency repairs.
