Specifications include, but are not limited to: The District invites interested firms to submit a SEALED PROPOSAL to provide services for an Online Teacher Support Platform that builds teacher capacity to develop higher-quality individualized education programs and implement them with more effective specially designed instruction in accordance with the specifications and terms and conditions of this solicitation. Services will be on an as-needed basis, for approximately Six-Hundred-Fifty (650) District staff employees per year. The platform must utilize research-based frameworks such as Webb’s Depth of Knowledge, Universal Design for Learning, CASEL’s Social and Emotional Competencies, and Culturally Responsive Teaching Practices aligned to the four key principles of the National Equity Project (NEP). The platform must assist teachers in identifying student present levels that are data-driven by providing assessments to aid in the identification of skill development. The platform must support the development of compliant and standards-aligned goals that address student individual needs. It must offer resources for appropriate levels of scaffolding, differentiation of instruction, and accommodations, including Universal Design for Learning strategies. The platform must establish successful implementation of IEPs and progress monitoring with instant access to research-based instructional strategies and classroom-ready resources. The platform must provide online resources supported by comprehensive professional development and training for teachers.
