Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Providing qualified speech/language pathologist(s), board certified behavior specialist(s), occupational therapist(s), physical therapist(s), special education teaching, and/or psychologist(s) for evaluation purposes, direct and consultant services, as ordered by the District. The District reserves the right to add services throughout the contract as needed through negotiations with awarded contractors. 2. Attend Staff meetings, Individual Education Plan (IEP) and 504 meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings and other district related meetings, as needed. 3. Participating with the District and parents in eligibility staffing and Individual Education Plan (IEP) meetings. 4. In compliance with the Family Educational Rights & Privacy Acts (FERPA), Contractor understands the confidentiality of student records and the importance of protecting the privacy of the students and their families. Acknowledgement of responsibility to respect the confidentiality of student and department records, and comply with the school district’s policies and procedures. 5. Compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act. 6. State License through South Carolina Labor License Review Board Speech Pathology/School Psychologist, Special Education Teacher, Occupational Therapy/Physical Therapy and Board Certified Behavior Specialist to include but not limited to: • Completing evaluation reports and developing IEPs utilizing the district’s online IEP system, • Completing Functional Behavioral Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans, • Completing Lesson Plans and instruction in accordance to IEPs, • Completing encounter logs for all services provided to students within 24 hours of service, • Providing the same therapist(s) to the student throughout the evaluation and therapy period. • Should this not be possible, then the contractor must ensure continuation of the service by another licensed or certified therapist who can proceed with the outlined therapy plan.
