Specifications include, but are not limited to: Security Services will include the prevention of loss and/or damage to property, averting harm or danger of harm to school personnel, students and clients located on school premises or immediate vicinity of school premises. Changes in the schedule shall be based on the need and operations of SCGSAH. The Contractor shall provide, at no cost to SCGSAH, such management, supervisory, and consultation services as may be required to initially establish a smooth running, efficient, professionally competent operation and work force. At the request of the SCGSAH such services shall include a complete survey of all equipment to be utilized, a total review of procedures involved in any operations with which security officers must be familiar; and will include written recommendations for any changes in security or safety measures the Contractor deems necessary and warranted. All such recommendations shall be afforded handling as "confidential" information by the Contractor. This requirement shall be a continuing process for the duration of the contract to include, at minimum, a review of all procedures annually with the SCGSAH personnel. The Contractor will make available one officer at the assigned times of this contract. No overtime will be paid unless the school holds the officer over for an emergency event. Late arrivals for shift hand off resulting in overtime for an officer will be the responsibility of the Contractor. Typically, the school will not need security service on holidays. There will also be holiday closures that will not require an officer to be on duty. A complete list of holidays will be given to the Contractor at the beginning of each year clearly outlining which holidays would need coverage and additional holiday pay rates would be the responsibility of the school for those requested dates.
