The Newberry City Police Department is tasked with keeping our community of 10,691 residents safe. New technology is needed to help cover the City of Newberry. The City of Newberry requests bids for the purchase of twenty-five (25) 8.0mp 4-image sensor outdoor cameras. Bids should include all wall mounting hardware and licensing. These cameras MUST be fully functional with an Avigilon server. The City of Newberry will be using funding acquired from the COPS Law Enforcement Technology and Equipment program grant. Vendors will NOT be responsible for installation services; the City of Newberry Utilities will provide the labor to install the cameras. The street cameras requested in the COPS Law Enforcement Technology and Equipment program will assist our agency in investigating, responding to, and overall protecting our community and the thousands of visitors we attract every year.
