Description

The Town of Summerville (hereinafter referred to as “Town”) is seeking sealed bids for new sidewalk construction on Central Avenue, from S-18-59 (Parsons Rd) to West Carolina Ave, and including pedestrian signalization and crosswalk upgrades at the W. Carolina/Central Ave intersection.

This the Central Avenue Phase 1 sidewalk project including installation of approximately 4,510 LF of 5-ft concrete sidewalk along Central Avenue from Parsons Road to W. Carolina Avenue, 228 LF of concrete curb and gutter handicap ramps, pedestrian heads at the Central Ave/W. Carolina Ave intersection, pavement marking, signs, ditch realignment and installation of stormwater piping/structures. See construction plans for location and specifications.

Also attached is the SCDOT Encroachment Permit (containing provisions on the work so I feel it is important to include for the contractor to have) and below is a link to the construction drawings
