12/12/2024 - RFP - Utility Damage Prevention and Related Services

The City of Knoxville is seeking proposals from responsible firms to provide day-to-day labor and equipment services for utility damage prevention and related work for the streetlighting system owned by the City. The utility damage prevention and other related services shall include utility locate services in response to notifications of proposed excavations and other associated services to aid in the prevention of damage to the City’s Underground Facility. The overall objective of this function is to protect the public, operators and excavators from physical harm, utility damage, and interrupted service resulting from damage to Underground Facility. The term of this agreement is to be one year, with two optional one-year renewals for a total possible term of three years.
