• Remove existing shingles from the roof down to the deck. • Inspect all roof decking for rot, damage, or sags re-nailing any loose wood and replacing wood as needed with the County’s approval. • Provide and install ice and water shields at all walls, valleys, and transitions. • Provide and install synthetic roof underlayment. • Provide and install new step flashing on walls. • Cut out ridge cap and provide and install new ridge vent and pipe boots. • Provide and install new 40 year architectural dimensional shingle. • Provide and install drip edge around the perimeter of the roof. • Clean out all gutters when complete. • Cleanup & haul away/dispose of all job-related debris leaving the area matching the shape before the project or better. • Provide workmanship warranty. • Provide product warranties. • Provide brand specifications for all products used. • Any damage to other materials or grounds by the contractor will be repaired to the County’s satisfaction.
