Big South Fork Delivery of Gravel: Purchase and Tailgate spread.
The National Park Service is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for the delivery and tail- gate spread of crushed limestone aggregate to recondition several gravel road corridors. The project will reestablish 4.6 miles of road, tailgate spreading 5,652 tons of crushed stone. NPS staff will cutback overhanging brush, limbs, and encroaching vegetation as well as grading, shaping road surfaces, and establishing ditches.

Commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This requirement is set-aside for Total Small Business in accordance with FAR Subpart 19-502-2, and only qualified offerors may submit a quote.
The NAICS code is 212313 Crushed and Broken Granite Mining and Quarrying the size standard is 750 Employees. 238910 Site Preparation Contractors; Also acceptable, NAICS; 212311, 212312, 212319. The government reserves the right to award none, any or all of the bid options in any order. Unit of issue is ton. Unit prices quoted shall be per ton and include hauling and stockpiling or tailgate spreading of ordered materials as indicated in specifications. This project is in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park Tennessee and North Carolina areas. The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials and supervision required to provide gravel to multiple locations within the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.
