Specifications include, but are not limited to: Broadcast Count The following numbers provide an estimate for the number of broadcasts Austin Peay is expecting in the first year of this contract. These numbers will change as schedules become available. In addition, Austin Peay may be responsible for postseason events (Atlantic Sun Conference, Invitational Tournaments, etc.) that would be in addition to these counts. These counts are set for Fall 2024 (Regular-Season Only): • Football: 7 • Soccer: 12 • Volleyball: 10 These counts are based on Winter 2023-Spring 2024: • Men’s Basketball: 17 • Women’s Basketball: 16 • Baseball: 28 • Softball: 26 Sport-Specific Minimum Broadcast Requirements All events are to be broadcast on ESPN+ unless ESPN refuses to carry the broadcast. In case of ESPN's refusal, Austin Peay reserves the right to have the event broadcast on its website (carried by SIDEARM). The minimum standards (per ASUN requirements) are listed below. Attachment C provides an option to upgrade certain events to a four-camera setup). All sports require the ability to connect to official replay systems (e.g. DVSport). Football • 5 cameras – Left 25, Right 25, High-End Zone, Low-End Zone, and Hand Held. • Instant replay for broadcast audience. • Graphics that show teams, quarter, time and score. • Dedicated talent for the ESPN production. No radio simulcast. Soccer • Two (2) HD cameras. High-Wide and High-Tight or field level. • High-Wide camera should be as even with midfield as possible. Roughly 15-25 ft off the field or further back depending on lens range and roughly 15-25 ft above the ground. • Instant replay for broadcast audience. • Graphics that show teams, half, time and score. • Dedicated talent for the ESPN production. No radio simulcast.
