The services sought include a range of catering options for events, encompassing food provision, staffing, appropriate table settings, and post-event clean-up. While the University cannot estimate its precise catering and event space expenditure, it anticipates varying spend based on factors such as event size and frequency. Agreements resulting from this solicitation will be governed by an official University Master Agreement. Departments may sign required order forms, but all order forms will be governed by the terms in the resulting Master Agreement. The departments host a variety of events each year ranging from small gatherings of 5 guests to very large events of more than 5000 guests. A few examples of events are academic conferences, donor appreciation dinners, fundraiser events, meals for teams in athletics, and commencements.
