Purpose of amendment 00004 is to provide response to vendor questions. No other changes.
Purpose of amendment 00003 is to change the site visit date. no other change.
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is 140P5324R00542 issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses attached are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95.
This Service requirement for the Treatment of Hemlock Woolly Adelgid Great Smoky Mountains National Park North Carolina and Tennessee.
Service work is to suppress HWA (Hemlock Wooly Adelgid) populations and protect and preserve the valuable resource of Eastern Hemlock trees for the benefits of aesthetic, recreational, and ecological importance; The contractor shall provide all labor, tool/equipment, materials, and supervision required in the attached PWS; All sites are within the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
This requirement is set-aside for Total Small Business in accordance with FAR Subpart 19-502-2, and only qualified offeror's may submit a quote.
The North American Industry Classification System; The NAICS code is 115310 Support Activity for Forestry) Size Standards in millions of dollars $7.5.
Offeror's must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and have completed the on-line Representations & Certifications at www.sam.gov to qualify for award. SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM): Federal Acquisition Regulations require that federal contractors register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov and enter all mandatory information into the system. Award cannot be made until the contractor has registered. Interested offerors are encouraged to ensure that they are registered in SAM prior to submitting their Proposal. THESE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE COMPLETED BEFORE TIME OF AWARD.
The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation, please review the attachments posted. The government reserves the right to award none, any or all of the options items in any order.
The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation to the vendor.
