The Town of Farragut, Tennessee seeks to retain the services of a professional consultant engineering firm to provide services related to construction management of ARPA funded Fiber Optic Cable Implementation. The professional engineering consulting firm must be on TDOT’s pre-approved list. Responsibilities of the professional consultant engineering firms include but are not limited to: (a) TDOT Local Programs coordination, (b) construction engineering and inspection (CEI) services, (c) Progress meetings, (d) General Services to include, assisting auditors with review of the project, submit to the Town a listing of personnel assigned to the project for review, (e) All reporting is completed in a timely manner and all certification documents are submitted to the Town department, (f) Testing for acceptance and training. (g) Review and sign off on all progress payments submitted by the contractor, (h) Receive and check the contractor’s payrolls for conformance to Davis Bacon, (i) Submit a compilation of project records to the Town after project completion, (j) Prepare documentation and assist in the defense of the Town, (k) Consultant with Kimley-Horn to provide As-Builts. Items (a-k) will be awarded to one consulting firm.
