The Scope of Work for this project includes interior demolition and renovations to the 1 story, 6,049 sq. ft. existing space at Veterans Plaza Suite 101-E & Suite 309 to renovate & create new offices for the Montgomery County Purchasing and Building & Codes Departments. Controlled demolition includes but is not limited to asbestos mastic contaminated VCT, removal of ceramic tile flooring, removal of carpet tile flooring, removal metal stud drywall partitions, minor concrete trenching for new conduits, minor masonry removal for new openings, wood doors, hollow metal frames, suspended ceiling systems and related work, plumbing, sprinkler, HVAC and electrical systems. Renovations include but are not limited to: concrete slab patching, masonry work at new openings, architectural cabinetry, sealants, factory finished wood doors, hollow metal frames, relocation of existing doors & frames, finish hardware, metal stud framing, drywall, ceramic floor tile , carpet tile, luxury vinyl plank flooring, VCT flooring, resilient base, acoustical ceiling panels and suspension systems, interior painting, plumbing, revisions to existing automatic sprinklers, ductwork for existing HVAC systems, limited new & replacement of existing VAV boxes, electrical systems, and related work.
