Specifications include, but are not limited to: Develop an overall marketing plan that positions Cleveland as a destination to LIVE, WORK, LEARN, & PLAY in the southeast United States, and develop a communications plan to provide communication services. The City may select multiple contractors to fulfill the scope of services. o Identify new marketing avenues for the City and assist in identifying its brand. o Develop a new city logo that will give the City a clear brand identity o Develop strategic marketing communications and brand support to assist the City in promoting initiatives, events, and programs. o Graphic design and production of advertising and communication materials (write, edit, and proof copy). o Recommend and implement media strategies, including media buys. o Negotiate with advertising media and oversee and evaluate services provided by advertising media. Offer input on the City’s current digital presence (including the City’s website and any current or potential social media sites maintained by the City). The City of Cleveland may require communications services in one or more of the following areas: o Strategic communications for City events, initiatives, projects and services o Video, film, podcast production, live broadcasts o Social media platform maintenance & operation & evaluation o Electronic/print design and layout o Creative consultation and design o Communications training o Media relations, planning and buying o Crisis communications support and planning o Construction relations o Advertising development
