Specifications include, but are not limited to: BrightRidge will require the services of two on-site security guards. There are two areas of general focus for security, the first being on the first floor of the main administrative building where customers conduct business. Customer Service takes up this total area which is about 17,950 square feet. BrightRidge employees assist on average 70 customers on any given day. Depending on the day of the month, cashiers accept total payments from walk-in customers and drive thru window anywhere from 150 to 400 payments and secures the services of an armored truck service to pick up payments each day. Payment totals include cash and checks ranging from approximately $75,000 to $500,000 per day. Security personnel is also asked to monitor parking lot activity as well as the second floor of the building. The second floor, which has occasional customer traffic, houses the CEO’s office, Accounting, Billing, IT, Broadband, and Human Resources and is made up of about 19,986 square feet. Security personnel will also monitor the main auditorium and employee clinic located in the lower level of building 200. This requires a schedule of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday thru Friday unless additional hours are requested. The second area of focus is in building 300 to include monitoring and operating the gates as BrightRidge employees, contractor employees, and vendors enter and exit in personal and/or company vehicles. Security will ensure the gate is functional and stays secured when not in immediate use. They will keep the public out of gated areas unless they have prior approval and will check building 300 outside doors periodically to ensure they are secured. Guards will checkin visitors and verify passes with contractors before granting entry. The schedule is 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM daily unless additional hours are requested. • Assist with customers who become irate or threatening • Prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas • Observe and/or report suspects to police • Detain offenders until police arrive if necessary • Patrol interior and exterior building areas • Prepare comprehensive incident reports when necessary • Monitor alarms and cameras; ensure necessary footage is downloaded • Write and maintain detailed incident reports • Respond as necessary to support safety, medical or other emergency situations • Work with Customer Service personnel in building 100 on end of day closing procedures • Work with members of the Service department to operate building 300 gate access • Monitor gates and prevent any unauthorized access by customers, contractors, vendors or members of the general public • Assign temporary contractor badges when necessary • Coordinate with BrightRidge Safety and Security Manger in the event of an emergency situation such as evacuation, lockdown, etc • Coordinate any personnel changes and new security guard orientation, to include introduction to the proper departmental managers, with the Safety and Security Manager • Security guards are to be cross trained to work in building 100 and building 300 and must periodically switch assignments; must back each other up as needed • Maintain CPR/1st aide certification and \administer as necessary
