1) The Contractor must develop post orders and have them approved by the City Manager and Assistant Transportation Director prior to the contract start date. The Contractor shall make post orders available to all guards. 2) Security Guard Services: Duties and general performance criteria shall include, but not be limited to, providing security guard services as listed. 2.3 Patrol the transit facility property to include building interior, exterior, and parking lot located at 324 New Salem Hwy, Murfreesboro, TN 37129 to: 1) Serve as a uniformed presence to deter disturbances, theft, vandalism, trespassing, and any criminal or unauthorized activity; 2) Report unusual or suspicious individuals or conditions to Transit employees or to Murfreesboro Police Department as warranted under the circumstances; 3) Recognize and respond promptly to emergency situations and safety hazards, such as, but not limited to, fire alarms, power outages, medical emergencies, and calling for assistance if needed; 4) Report any accidents, emergencies, property issues, potential threats, or potential criminal activity to Transit employees immediately and to contact the Murfreesboro Police Department when the situation warrants; 5) Track and log any maintenance issues and safety hazards; 6) Monitor employee parking areas and escort employees as requested; and 7) Monitor electronic security equipment and cameras. 2.4 Provide security services Monday through Friday beginning at 5:00 AM through 7:00 PM, Saturdays beginning at 8:00 AM through 5:00 PM. No services required on Sundays and City observed holidays. Occasional hours beyond the scheduled end time may occur. 2.5 Provide security guards. Guardsshall be unarmed, excluding non-lethal means such as pepper spray, and/or batons, and adhere to all relevant laws, regulations and industry standards governing security services.
