RFP-PT-2012-011 - Offender Paid Electronic Monitoring Program

Summary of Specifications:
Bexar County, Pre-Trial Services Office and the Community Supervision and Corrections Department will use offender-paid electronic monitoring services as a supervision tool for offenders. Bexar County, Pre-Trial Services Office (PTSO) and the Community Supervision and Corrections Department of Bexar County (CSCD), a political entity of the Judicial District of Bexar County, implements program supervision in accordance with the orders of the criminal courts and utilizes them toward the accomplishment of its mission by: 1. Effectively managing and positively motivating offenders; 2. Enforcing compliance with court orders; 3. Responding quickly to violations; 4. Employing a progressive sanctions model; 5. Applying evidence-based practices to supervision strategies; 

6. Promoting restorative practices for victims, community and offenders; 7. Promoting victim support; 8. Increasing public awareness; 9. Promoting successful community integration; 10.Collaborating with our community partners.
