Summary of Specifications:
REQUEST FOR STATEMENTS OF QUALIFICATIONS PROFESSIONAL TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT SERVICES FOR Common Integrated Justice System
Bexar County, along with the cities of San Antonio and Houston, have all defined a common interest and need in developing a Combined Integrated Justice System. Bexar County Department of Information Services, CIJS Division invites qualified firms to submit qualifications for professional services to include, but not be limited to, the preparation and presentation of a system architecture which will:
1. Define the structure and/or behavior of a system. 2. Serve as a representation of a system in which there is a mapping of functionality onto hardware and software components, a mapping of the software architecture onto the hardware architecture, and human interaction with these components. 3. Depict the allocated arrangement of physical elements which provides the design solution for a consumer product or life-cycle process intended to satisfy the requirements of the functional architecture and the requirements baseline. 4. Provide a description of the design and contents of a computer system. 5. Document information such as a detailed inventory of future hardware, software and networking capabilities; a description of long-range plans and priorities for future purchases, and a plan for upgrading and/or replacing dated equipment and software. 6. Provide a documented formal description of a system, or a detailed plan of the system at component level to guide its implementation. 7. Document the structure of components, their interrelationships, and the principles and guidelines governing their design.

08/22/2008 at 10:00am – Last Date/Time for Potential Proposers to submit questions in writing regarding the RFQ.
Four (4) copies of the statement of qualifications (SOQ) must be received no later than 4:00 pm on September 3, 2008. SOQs must be addressed as follows:
