RFP-2008-126 - RFP-2008-126 Consulting Services for a Needs Assessment of Security

Summary of Specifications:
Bexar County is seeking a review of the effectiveness of physical security services provided within all County facilities. Currently, the County appropriates approximately $9 million annually for the security of the Courthouse, Justice Center, and the Frank Tejeda Juvenile Justice Center. This review must include all courtrooms with an emphasis on the number of bailiffs assigned to each district, civil and county court. Additionally, the review must address the effectiveness of entrance security in all County buildings including those facilities that do not maintain courtrooms. This Request for Proposal will focus on the improvement of the quantity and quality of security services for the dollars the County invests.
