Important Note to Vendors:
SCOPE OF WORK a)Contractor will provide the necessary personnel and equipment to remove the litter and debris on designated properties. See attached maps and photos for legal descriptions of properties. b)Litter and debris shall be picked up from the grounds prior to mowing. “Litter and debris” is defined as branches, trash, garbage, and refuse discarded onto the property including but not limited to scrap metals, paper, wood, plastic, tires, appliances, furniture and/or glass products. c)All removed litter and debris must be properly disposed in an authorized landfill. Waste manifests and/or disposal tickets must be provided to the County to receive payment. d)Contractor will provide the necessary equipment and personnel to cut or mow the vegetation present on the designated property. The contractor shall mow up to all fence lines and alleys. e)No grass, weeds, trash, debris, etc shall be blown into the streets or alleys. f)Insurance Requirements: Contractor shall provide and maintain the following types and amount of insurance for the duration of the contract: i) Comprehensive General – (Public) Liability, to include, but not limited to: (a)Premises/Operation, (b) Independent Contractors, (c) Personal Injury, (d) Products/Completed operations and, (e)Contractual Liability. Coverage will be in the amount of $25,000 combined single limit coverage for bodily injury and property damage (or its equivalent). ii) Comprehensive Automobile – Liability to include coverage for: (a) Owned/leased automobiles, (b) Non-owned automobiles and (c) hired cars. Amount of coverage will be 20/40/15 combined single limit coverage for bodily injury and property damage (or its equivalent). iii) When required by State law, worker’s compensation and employer’s liability in the statutory amount of $100,000 per accident.
