RFP-2009-055 - Request for Proposal (RFP) for Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM)

Summary of Specifications:
BexarMet is seeking Requests for Proposal (RFP) for services from an experienced Pharmacy Benefit Management firm to provide a prescription drug benefit program, enroll employees and dependents, contract administration and management of the program for the Sponsor/BexarMet Water District through the PBM’s network of Pharmacy Providers. This project will encompass working with other BexarMet Water District providers for benefits, i.e. HealthSmart, the TPA for the self funded medical and dental plan, and ING Employee Benefits for the Stop Loss. The project will require that the BexarMet Water District medical plan “look and feel” seamless for all the benefits to providers and the employees. The current PBM is ScriptCare.
