Summary of Specifications:
The City of Cedar Park seeks the services of qualified engineering consultants for the development of Construction Plans, Specifications, and Estimates for the Little Elm Extension Roadway Project. Design of the roadway improvements shall consist of 4 lane divided roadway section from the existing stub out near the Lakeline Blvd and Little Elm Trail intersection, connecting to the existing section of Little Elm near the Juliette Way Intersection, and then connecting to and expanding the existing 2 lane divided section in the Red Oak subdivision. Please see the figure included in the official RFQ. Project development will also include the preparation of schematics, surveying, all permitting, identification of additional right-of-way requirements, the identification of utility requirements and conflicts, required City utility adjustments, coordination with utility companies and outside agencies, attending of utility coordination meetings, public involvement, and any other items necessary to successfully develop the project. The City of Cedar Park will contract directly with an environmental consultant for environmental clearance of this project but coordination between the design consultant and environmental consultants will be required.
