Summary of Specifications:
The City of Hutto is requesting qualifications from qualified architectural/engineering firms to provide full design, documentation, and construction administration services for the design and construction of a YMCA Recreation Center facility. The City anticipates partnering with the Williamson County YMCA for operation and maintenance of the facility; therefore, the YMCA will be actively involved in the Contractor selection process and ultimate design of the facility. The proposed facility shall be an approximately 25,000 square feet building consistent with standard YMCA facilities and is planned to include an instructional/recreational pool; health, wellness and childwatch areas; exercise and locker rooms; a teen center; lobby; and storage/administrative office areas and hallways. In addition, the parking and landscaping shall be required components of the project. The design may need to accommodate a phased construction for an ultimate build-out.
