RFP-12-032 - Gill Parasite

Summary of Specifications:
The City of New Braunfels is seeking proposals to conduct a system wide survey on the Comal River to determine non-native snail population densities and cercarial concentrations of the parasite, Centrocestus Formosanus. Results from survey activities will be used to develop and implement a gill parasite monitoring and reduction program to minimize negative effects on the fountain darter populations within the Comal River in following years, as part of a separate scope of work.
