Summary of Specifications:
The City of New Braunfels Police Department (NBPD) has 80 plus mobile data terminals (MDTs) General Dynamics/ITronix reaching the end of their expected 5 year service life. These terminals are laptop personal computers that are removable from secure mounts in patrol squad cars. The objective of this RFP is to replace these units with reliable, cost-effective, comfortable to use, low maintenance units.
