The City of San Marcos is soliciting sealed bids to be received in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Municipal Building – 1st Floor, 630 East Hopkins Street, San Marcos, Texas 78666, as outlined below:
Bid Number: IFB 219-167 214 E. Hutchinson Street Improvements
Scope of the Project will include improvements to an approximately 6,000 sq. ft. property owned by the City at 214 E. Hutchinson Street, in downtown San Marcos. Improvements include but are not limited to landscaping and walkways. The engineer and owner have estimated the cost of this project to be approximately $357,080.

Bidders must submit a cashier’s check, certified check, or acceptable bidder’s bond with their bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid submitted.
Bids must be received in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Municipal Building – 1st Floor, 630 East Hopkins Street, San Marcos, Texas 78666, no later than February 28, 2019, at 2:00 P.M., C.D.T. at which time bids will be read aloud at the City of San Marcos, Human Resources Training Room, Municipal Building – 1st Floor, 630 East Hopkins Street, San Marcos, Texas 78666.
Award is scheduled for the May 7, 2019, City Council meeting at 6:00 P.M., or any subsequent time thereafter.
