The City of San Marcos is soliciting sealed bids to be received in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Building 4, 630 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, TX 78666, as outlined below:
Solicitation Number: IFB 223-135 Various Drainage Improvements IFB
Scope of Project: Includes but is not limited to construction drainage improvements for three project locations. Project 1 – Bishop Street at Prospect consists of new storm sewer drainage and inlets. Project 2 – S. LBJ Culvert includes repairing the street culvert crossing over Willow Springs. Project 3 – Craddock Avenue consists of a new outfall from an existing drainage ditch to an existing storm sewer system located at Cradock Avenue. The estimated construction cost for this project id $293,405.

Bidders must submit a cashier’s check, certified check, or acceptable bidder’s bond with their bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid submitted.
A non-mandatory pre-bid video conference will be held on May 28, at 2:00 P.M., Local Time. Requests for access to video conference must be submitted to RShelton@sanmarcostx.gov at least 30 minutes prior to the pre-bid videoconference.
Bids must be received in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Building 4, 630 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, TX 78666, no later than June 20, 2024, at 2:00 P.M., Local Time, and will be conducted via videoconferencing. Requests for access to the videoconference must be submitted to RShelton@sanmarcostx.gov at least 30 minutes prior to the bid opening.
Award is scheduled for the August 5, 2024, City Council meeting at 6:00 p.m. or any subsequent time unless otherwise rescheduled.
