The City of San Marcos is soliciting sealed bids to be received in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Building 4, 630 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, TX 78666, as outlined below:
Solicitation Number: IFB 224-002 Sessom Creek Bank Stabilization and Wastewater Replacement-Phase 2
Scope of Project: Includes but is not limited to installation of approximately 1,183 LF of 12” and 8” wastewater line, approximately 3,000 CF of channel excavation associated with natural creek restoration, the removal of Loquat Street and the repaving of Canyon Road within the project limits. The estimated annual construction cost for this project, including bid alternative one (1) is $2,150,844.

Bidders must submit a cashier’s check, certified check, or acceptable bidder’s bond with their bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid submitted.
A non-mandatory pre-bid video conference will be held on November 26, at 2:00 P.M., Local Time. Requests for access to video conference must be submitted to RShelton@sanmarcostx.gov at least 30 minutes prior to the pre-bid videoconference.
Bids must be received in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Building 3, 630 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, TX 78666, no later than December 19, 2024, at 2:00 P.M., Local Time, and will be conducted via videoconferencing. Teams meeting link is included in solicitation.
Award is scheduled for the February 4, 2025, City Council meeting at 6:00 p.m. or any subsequent time unless otherwise rescheduled.
