The City of San Marcos is soliciting sealed bids to be received in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Building 4, 630 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, TX 78666, as outlined below:
Solicitation Number: IFB 224-167 Electric Distribution IDIQ IFB
Scope of Project: Includes but is not limited to the provision of maintenance and construction services for City of San Marcos Electric Distribution as identified by the Owner and will be executed utilizing IDIQ Work Orders as necessary, in accordance with all contract plans, specifications, and contract requirements. The estimated annual construction cost is $1,800,000.

Bidders must submit a cashier’s check, certified check, or acceptable bidder’s bond with their bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid submitted.
A non-mandatory pre-bid video conference will be held on May 7, at 2:00 P.M., Local Time. Requests for access to video conference must be submitted to RShelton@sanmarcostx.gov at least 30 minutes prior to the pre-bid videoconference.
Bids must be received in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Building 4, 630 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, TX 78666, no later than May 30, 2024, at 2:00 P.M., Local Time, and will be conducted via videoconferencing. Requests for access to the videoconference must be submitted to RShelton@sanmarcostx.gov at least 30 minutes prior to the bid opening.
Award is scheduled for the July 2, 2024, City Council meeting at 6:00 p.m. or any subsequent time unless otherwise rescheduled.
