The City of San Marcos is soliciting sealed bids to be received in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Building 4, 630 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, TX 78666, as outlined below:
Solicitation Number: IFB 224-288 Davis Lane Lift Station and Gravity Main Improvements
Scope of Project: Includes but is not limited to reversing flow by reconstructing a portion of the gravity main (approx. 350 LF) on Davis Lane and installing a gravity main crossing across Davis Lane; constructing a lift station capable of 1,000 GPM flow; and constructing 10” and 6” HDPE force main (approx. 50 LF) and tie into existing 10” and 6” force main. The estimated construction cost for this project is $2,319,007.15.

Bidders must submit a cashier’s check, certified check, or acceptable bidder’s bond with their bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid submitted.
A non-mandatory pre-bid video conference will be held on December 3, at 2:00 P.M., Local Time. Requests for access to video conference must be submitted to RShelton@sanmarcostx.gov at least 30 minutes prior to the pre-bid videoconference.
Bids must be received in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Building 3, 630 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, TX 78666, no later than January 9, 2025, at 2:00 P.M., Local Time, and will be conducted via videoconferencing. Teams meeting link is included in solicitation.
Award is scheduled for the March 4, 2025, City Council meeting at 6:00 p.m. or any subsequent time unless otherwise rescheduled.
