Summary of Specifications:
The intent of these specifications is to secure a contract for the purchase of two (2) Police Motorcycles for the San Marcos Police Department to be used in high speed highway traffic and law enforcement work. The motorcycles will be operated at speeds above 100 mph for both short and long distances at ambient temperatures ranging from 20 degrees F. to 120 degrees F. They will be driven on all types of roads and road surfaces and will posess outstanding handling characteristics, maneuverability, and stability.
