The City of Victoria, Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) and Parks & Recreation Department is seeking bids to furnish all equipment and labor to perform a 4th of July and New Year’s Eve Fireworks show. The 4th of July fireworks will be staged on the grounds of the Victoria Community Center (2905 E. North St, Victoria, TX 77901), a City of Victoria property, due to the best range for a fall out zone. A majority of the spectators will be encouraged to view the show from the parking areas of the Community Center grounds. This display of fireworks must be a high – level show. All shells fired must reach a minimum height of 400 feet. Shot racks, which are to only be used in the finale segment of the production, must reach a minimum height of 300 feet. The New Year’s Eve fireworks will be staged on the driving range of the Riverside Golf Course (302 McCright Dr, Victoria, TX 77901), a City of Victoria property, due to the best range for a fall out zone. A majority of the spectators will be encouraged to view the show from Riverside Stadium, the Riverside Stadium parking lot, the Riverside Special Events Area, the Riverside Soccer Complex, and the Children’s Playground. This display of fireworks must be a high – level show. All shells fired must reach a minimum height of 400 feet.
