INVITATION TO BID CHLORINE DIOXIDE
ELECTRONIC SEALED bids are due on or before 1:00 P.M., on Thursday, August 15, 2024 on BidNet Direct at the following URL : https://www.bidnetdirect.com/texas/cityofsulphursprings Bids will not be accepted in person or through mail service. All specification documents may be examined and downloaded at https://www.bidnetdirect.com/texas/cityofsulphursprings Registration is required to access documents. Bids will be electronically opened at 1:05 P.M at the Business Office located at 125 Davis St S. Information concerning the bid process/procedures may be obtained by contacting Ashley Floyd, Purchasing Agent at (903) 439-3758. Written and emailed inquiries are permitted. Information concerning the bid specifications may be obtained by contacting James Jordan, Utility Director, through email at jjordan@sulphurspringstx.org. Please copy Russell Ham (rham@sulphurspringstx.org) on any technical questions. All written inquiries must be submitted no later than 11:00 A.M., August 8, 2024. Every interpretation made to a Bidder will be in the form of an Addendum issued through BidNet Direct. The City reserves the right to reject any and all submissions and to waive technicalities, to re-advertise, to proceed otherwise when the best interests of said City will be realized hereby informalities in submissions. Qualified DBE firms are encouraged to submit bids.
Bids will be awarded to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder. In the event of a tie, the item will be awarded to the bidder that has the most local presence to Sulphur Springs, Texas.
