FELPS is seeking a replacement microwave radio network solution to replace its existing microwave radio network. The microwave radio network solution will need to be both PtP and PtMP in design, meet bandwidth, beamforming, and frequency agility specifications, and be capable of remote management via management software. The system will have a total of 6 sites, with 3 PtP links, and 2 PtMP links. FELPS has licensed MW frequencies (3.6-3.7Ghz) that can be utilized but will consider an unlicensed solution as well. The solution will need to be configured, installed, and aligned on existing tower infrastructure. Once system acceptance has been accomplished removal of the old equipment from our tower infrastructure will also be required and should be included in the bid. See attachment C for information.
We are also seeking a replacement combining/multicoupler system and power amplification system for our 3-site trunked radio system. Each site will need a 3-channel UHF combining/multicoupler system with integrated preamplifiers, receive multicouplers, and splitters. Each site will also need three 125watt UHF power amplifiers that comply with the input & output specifications listed below. Vendor will need to remove the old equipment from our equipment racks at each site and install the new equipment in the same location as the removed equipment.
