MINIMUM QUALITY SPECIFICATIONS

Bedding & Backfill Sand shall conform to ASTM 2487 sand classifications having no more than the fraction of fines (material passing a No. 200 sieve) listed on the Bid Form line items.

Material sample and Supplier’s specifications, if requested by Waterworks, shall be submitted for approval after acceptance of bid and/or when there is a change in materials or when requested by the Waterworks.

Bidder will allow sampling of proposed material at the pit of operations stockpile by a geotechnical testing firm of the Waterworks’ choice.
