Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.1.1 Determine and provide the necessary personnel, equipment, services, and materials required to reclaim mines included in a Work Order. 3.1.2 Reclaim abandoned mine lands and contamination through earthwork which includes, but is not limited to: a. Remediation of ground subsidence features including but not limited to: underground and surface mine subsidence and depressions b. Surface and groundwater remediation, including but not limited to: stream, wetland, and pond remediation in accordance with Clean Water Act 402 and 404 permits; water treatment facilities, dewatering/pumping systems, water control channels c. Obtain necessary TPDES permits and implement a stormwater pollution prevention plan d. Soil handling including but not limited to: excavation and soil segregation, stockpiling and redistribution, highwall and spoil ridge reduction e. Vendor shall locate a source for clean clay and/or fill material and haul to work site, or use borrow area on site for backfilling operations f. Revegetation including the use of natives and/or like for like species g. Construction of roads, gates, fencing, wildlife exclusion fencing h. Burning, clearing, grubbing, and waste removal and disposal i. Implement erosion and sediment control measures, and appropriate final grading techniques j. Drilling and grouting operations k. Acid forming materials remediation l. Acid seep remediation per design m. Restore land to a habitable condition 3.1.3 Respondent shall perform reclamation observation and post-reclamation/post-construction monitoring at AML sites 3.1.4 Compare feasibility and cost-effectiveness of remedial solution 3.1.5 Other tasks as required
