1. Pricing shall include all costs for dollies, winching, standby time, drop drive line and any other aspects to perform the towing service. 2. This contract excludes towing services outside the city limits of Beaumont with the exception of the locations listed in Section 1, item number 2 of these specifications. 3. If determined to be in the best interest of the City, the contract may be awarded to one (1) bidder per section for all services provided in each section. The contract consists of three (3) sections as follows: 3.1 Section 1: Vehicles Maintained by Fleet Management 3.2 Section 2: Inoperable Vehicles Towed for the Code Enforcement Division 3.3 Section 3: Vehicles Seized by the Beaumont Police Department 4. Service shall be provided 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Delivery hours for Fleet Management vehicles are from 7:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and holidays. 6. Response time shall be a maximum of thirty (30) minutes. If unable to respond within thirty (30) minutes, the Contractor shall notify the agency that requested towing services. 7. There shall not be additional work time charges for normal towing hook-ups. 8. Working time shall be billed for actual tenths (1/10) of an hour based on the quoted hourly rate. There shall not be a minimum charge. 9. Bidders agree to operate their vehicles, which are used to remove designated vehicles in compliance with Chapter 29, Article IV of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Beaumont and specifically agree to license under the provision of Chapter 29, Article IV, the towing vehicles used in the performance of his obligations. 10.
