Specifications include, but are not limited to: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Act as Broker for all or some lines of insurance designated by the JPS; Determine whether policies currently in force are appropriate in terms of coverage, carrier and price; Review insurance policies to determine compliance with agreed upon terms and conditions for exposures currently insured; Make recommendations regarding carriers, coverages, limits, terms, conditions and exposures; Assist JPS in exploring Alternative Risk Transfer including large deductible programs; Assist JPS in identifying and organizing pertinent information in order to market and place insurance programs and coverages; Take the lead role in the marketing, negotiating, and placement of these policies in the most efficient and cost effective manner; Include JPS representatives in renewal and periodic meetings with underwriters; Assist JPS with reporting, monitoring and management of claims and advocating on any disputed or problem claims; Review and recommend loss control and safety programs to minimize accidents; Provide evaluation of insurance markets and any new options that could be of interest to the JPS on an ongoing basis, including quarterly reporting; Maintain and service JPS’s current policies through their current expiration dates; Provide verification of coverage as needed on behalf of the JPS;
