The City of Sugar Land is seeking responses to the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from experienced architectural firms for the CMU2507 - Renovation of the Existing PD & Court Building + New PD Headquarters project. The selected firm must be well-versed in the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) delivery method and have expertise in commercial and municipal architectural projects. Alongside the CMAR and City representatives, the chosen firm will play an integral role from the project's initial design phase through completion. The proposed project includes the construction of a new Police Department building (situated on the south side of Highway 6, between University Blvd to the west and First Colony Blvd to the east; see Attachment A) at approximately 50,000 square feet, as well as the renovation of the existing Police Department and Courts building (1200 Hwy 6, Sugar Land, TX 77478; see Attachment A) at approximately 43,000 square feet.
