Specifications include, but are not limited to: The intent of this procurement solicitation, Manufacturer Direct Ship to District Warehouse Commercial Products, is to establish a pre-qualified list of responsive and responsible Vendors, known as a company or firm whose purpose is to provide food items, beverages, paper products, plastic goods, and other goods and/or services not available through other procurement means, excluding fresh produce items. It also allows CNP-STC members the ability to order food and/or supplies directly from manufacturers. Item descriptions, specifications and/or technical requirements and estimated quantities are provided for items and an opportunity for Vendors to provide a product list for other items not specified in the items tab. Although Vendors may restrict sales to certain geographical areas or Member Districts within the Scope of this Request for Proposal (RFP), sales without restriction to all participating districts is preferred. Region One ESC and its cooperative members are required to conduct a cost or price analysis for the procurement of goods and/or services not listed in the items tab, and within the scope of services offered with this bid solicitation. Cooperative members are responsible for the selection of goods and/or services available to meet their individual district menu needs, nutrition goals, storage capabilities, and student/staff/community preferences. Food and beverage items must meet the USDA Healthy Hunger Free Kids Act (HHFKA) of 2010 requirements and/or the USDA Smart Snacks in Schools Standards, as well as the Buy American Provision, and any additional requirements mandated by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and/or Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) and/or other applicable state agencies for cooperative members
