Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor’s s Responsibilities 4.2.1 Contractor shall prepare meals at a kitchen that meets the requirements of the Austin Public Health Department. 4.2.2 City reserves the right to decrease quantity of participants at any time during the contract period. 4.2.3 Contractor shall propose a variety of hot, ready-to-eat and buffet menu options to be prepared and delivered in disposable food containers (ie. foil, paper, plastic, or foam) for self-service by class participants. The awarded Offeror shall provide disposable containers to serve the food from or stay and clean up after the food is served. The City is not responsible for items left at the event 4.2.4 Dinner options shall include hot and cold items and shall include at least one (1) protein, one (1) vegetable and either bread/roll, coffee and iced tea with dessert with each meal or prior approved menu selection. Appropriate, fresh and complementary condiments shall be provided with each meal served. No left-over condiments shall be used. 4.2.5 Contractor shall provide plastic utensils (spoon, fork, and knife) and paper napkins for each class. Contractor shall confirm the menu plan including number of meals, drinks, condiments, delivery location and time within 24 hours of the event date with City staff by email. 4.2.6 The Contractor shall deliver meals during scheduled times. To ensure prompt customer service and avoid cold meals and delays, the Contractor shall not deliver more than 15 minutes early.
