Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Respondent will be given a 559 sq. ft space in Ferguson Hall, Room 308 (See Exhibit B) for office/retail/service space. a. Respondent must allow the business to be open to both the outside community and campus community 2. Respondent must employ at least 3 Texas A&M University-Commerce Students per semester and must be over seen by the parent company. a. Duties must include skills such as customer service, accounting/accounts, management, marketing, and other duties as assigned by parent company. b. Employed students must earn wages from parent company. c. Parent company must oversee the student’s business plan and cross-reference it against established business processes of parent company d. Hold students accountable for operations and outcomes e. Respondent shall include their training programs, employment screenings, management intern programs, employment opportunities, drug testing programs, and affirmative action plans for Texas A&M University-Commerce to evaluate their hiring, training, development programs of the proposed employees. f. The Respondent shall indicate proposed business venture manager and official point of contact for this contract. Respondent shall provide names, addresses, phone numbers and emails. 3. Respondent must have business hours during the academic school year only (see Exhibit A for calendar) 4. Services/commodities provided to the campus and community must not include the vending of following goods (whether on campus, by catalog, or through electronic commerce, including hyperlinks to alternative sources): a. Meals/Snacks/Drinks b. Text Books c. Course materials d. Educational materials used in the teaching process e. TAMUC spirit wear f. College supplies g. Desk and dorm accessories h. Gifts/souvenirs i. Graduation regalia (sale and rental) j. Computer software k. Drinks 2. Services and commodities that are acceptable under this scope can include the following, but not limited to: a. Printing/Screening services b. Professional services IE: consulting, financial, contractor, ect c. Awards, name tags, badges, trophies d. Beauty supplies e. Furniture f. Electronics (not sold in the university bookstore)
