Specifications include, but are not limited to: It is the intent of Bastrop County to execute a contract with a bank wanting to be designated as the county depository bank. By returning the Proposal Worksheet, Bank acknowledges that it understands the Local Government Code, §116.000 through §116.155 that pertain to the managing and safekeeping of County funds and will comply with these statutes. Also, the Bank acknowledges that it understands the Local Government Code, §117.000 through §117.124 that pertain to depositories, certain trust funds and court registry funds held in trust by the County and will comply with these statutes. The depository thus selected will be the depository for the County funds, trust fund of the County and District Clerks of Bastrop County, money collected and held by the Tax Collector pending distribution, and all general and special funds of every nature which the County may tender for deposit during the five-year term.
