Contractor shall legally relocate portable classroom buildings in accordance with priority list and site plans provided by the District. Contractor shall legally relocate portable classroom buildings as expeditiously as possible to allow for District occupancy. Contractor shall place, level and secure portable units as required by the current adopted City of El Paso Building Code. Leveling and anchorage or portable classroom buildings shall be achieved by using pressure treated lumber. Note: No dimensional lumber smaller than 4"X4" and/or masonry blocks will be allowed. Contractor agrees to follow/maintain the Districts generated movement schedule and site plans. In the event the Contractor cannot follow/maintain the District's movement schedule, he/she will immediately contact the Districts representative and give the District a schedule he/she can follow/maintain that will be acceptable to the District. In the event that Contractor cannot follow/maintain the District's site plan, he/she shall immediately contact the Districts representative for an alternate site plan. In the event the Contractor fails to follow/maintain the Districts movement schedule and fails to notify the District of such within 48 hours, the District will contract for moving services from another source. Upon receipt of a work order, Contractor shall carefully document all existing building conditions and submit documentation to the District prior to transport. Contractor shall be responsible for the repair or replacement of any building systems that are damaged during transport. Contractor shall be responsible for submitting any permit applications and for payments of any permits prior to transport. Contractor shall submit a copy to the District of the paid transport permits with the final invoice. The apprenticeship program may apply to this Contract.
